Sensors description

All the vessels of the IEO fleet have a basic configuration of a Seabird 21 Seacat thermosalinograph with a Turner 10 au fluorometer. This equipment collects temperature, salinity, and fluorescence data, during the sailing of the vessels.

This year, the Lura acquisition system has been updated. In this case, due to the Turner, 10 au is discontinued, we add three different Turner C-fluor sensors to sample Chlorophyll, Turbidity and Chromophoric dissolved organic matter. These sensors are integrated with Seabird 21 using 3 analogical channels of the TSG.

After this update, the idea is to integrate more sensors as an oximeter and CO2 meter in the next months.
